THE DUNHILL LINKS GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP

It was the eve of the Dunhill Links Championship and Steve was ready to greet his Dunhill partner, Simon Yates, to prepare for the competition. A note under appeared under the door - Simon had been injured and couldn't play. Unfortunately, Simon failed to cover his tracks as the news spread that he was actually playing in an Asian tour.

A new Pro was assigned to Steve - Daniel Vanijec. Daniel hails from Argentina, he has only played few events but the pair got on well and got on with the task in hand.

Daniel and Steve made a 11-under team score but failed to make the cut which was set at 15-under. Out of 186 teams, they came in at equal 69th overall.

"Despite the questionable start to the event, I really enjoyed myself." Steve commented. "Daniel is a very nice guy and a helped to make the event very enjoyable. I can't wait for next year."
