Henley Royal Regatta 2005

Date: 28 June 2005

The average height of the Henley population has risen by at least a foot as the town becomes awash with rowers preparing for the start of Henley Royal Regatta on Wednesday, 29 June.

Steve, while completing his official duties as Steward, will be keeping a close eye on the progress of the coxless fours.

"I am really looking forward to the Regatta. Of course, I will be supporting all our rowers but the coxless fours will be particularly interesting. We have seen our new line-up looking very good in recent weeks so it is an exciting time."

It is widely anticipated that the coxless fours final will see the British face the Canadians, but with new line-ups for both teams, the outcome is difficult to predict.
