Sport Relief: An early start...

Date: 27 June 2006

With the Sport Relief Mile just a couple of weeks away, Steve has lent his support to the big event by running an extra mile with Tony Blair, Lord Seb Coe and javelin thrower, Fatima Whitbread.

Held at the Lee Valley Cycle Circuit in Stratford, the famous four were joined by local school children from Emerson Park School to show everyone how it's done.

Steve, who will also be running a Sport Relief Mile in Birmingham on 15 July, commented, "This event seems to capture the imagination of more and more people each year. I would encourage everyone to run a mile and be part of a superb achievement. It's great fun and not nearly as hard as the Marathon!"
