Tanni Grey-Thompson bows out in style
Date: 16 May 2007
Having dominated her sport for nearly twenty years, last week Tanni Grey-Thompson chose to bid farewell to the track at the recent Paralympic World Cup at Trafford, Manchester.
Anyone who had played a part in her glittering career, however minor, was invited to a private dinner at the Imperial War Museum in Manchester on the 10th May just before the competition got going.
As both a friend and a fan, Steve went along to show his appreciation of Tanni's achievements.
"It was an honour to be part of Tanni's goodbye to the track but I know that she will still be completely committed to Paralympic sport and will put all her energies into continuing what has been as amazing career, both off and on the track."
